Squid proxy setup for caching RPMs

Since I have >7 Fedora installations I setup a squid proxy server specifically for the purpose of reducing my download data since many of the same packages are going to get downloaded over and over again. I seem to be getting some hits (still looking for a GOOD squid analyzer!) but not as much as I would expect. I'm no regex expert but I tried to update the regex to pick up delta RPMS as well and may have made a mistake... Here's my modifications to the default squid conf file... have not seen a larger RPM yet maximum_object_size 1 GB # cache RPMs only acl rpm_only urlpath_regex \.[d]?rpm cache allow rpm_only cache deny all cache_replacement_policy heap LFUDA Any ideas? Laptop not charging after resume.

I have a DELL Precision Mobile 5530 with an NVidia card and the proprietary drivers (if only I could use the non-proprietary ones)... Since I switched to Fedora 30, it seems that USB-C power supply does not work (the battery is not charging)... I was afraid of a harware problem, when I noticed that when I resume after a suspend or a hibernate, the standard power-plug also does not work either (it re-works after a full restart of the computer). So I now tend to believe, it is a software problem... Has anyone encoutered this situation ? Has anyone has clues on how to diagnose or correct the trouble ? I know my kernel is tainted, but would be very grateful of any help tyo solve the issue... Thank's in advance for any help... Theo.

SELinux label problem on a VM

I have a small F29 Server VM (KVM/QEMU) which has not changed recently and has worked consistently for several months. Now when I try to boot it I get: Requested operation is not valid: Setting different SELinux label on /home/poc/VM/vm-f29b.qcow2 which is already in use I haven't touched any SElinux settings, though I do update my host F30 system on a daily basis so something may have changed. The current context for that file is: $ ls -lZ vm-f29b.qcow2 -rw-------. 1 qemu qemu system_u:object_r:svirt_image_t:s0:c467,c977 21478375424 Aug 11 11:14 vm-f29b.qcow2 Any thoughts on what I should look at? poc

Fedora 30 snd Calc -

I need help getting LibreOffice Calc to accept a simple math function, =E1+G2-F2 and use it. Can someone point me to a good instruction for entering it? I simply want to add two columns, E and G, and subtract F. I've done this before with out a problem, can't seem to make it work in a new install ... NFS and Firewalld -

My NFS problems continue. The hard drive was replaced, Fedora 30 installed and NFS is configured. I think the configuration is good, I followed the instructions anyway. Firewlld appears to be a new stumbling block and I don't know how to fix it. I looked at the Firewalld GUI and there is nothing intuitive about it. If I stop Firewlld, showmount displays the exports. firefox in f30

Bonjour, I have just upgraded to f30 from f29. As I wanted to use firefox, I had a warning: "create a new profile"..... Why I can't use my previous profile? I tried to create a new profile and: all my bookmarks, all my addons all my previous config have disappeared. How can I recover?
