According to the manual, the rtsp port is 554 and not 88 as you've entered above.

I downloaded the Foscom C1 manual but missed the rstp port information, tried that with mplayer and got the following:

$ mplayer rtsp://admin@192.168.1.53:554/videoMain
MPlayer 1.3.0-6.2.1 (C) 2000-2016 MPlayer Team
do_connect: could not connect to socket
connect: No such file or directory

Playing rtsp://admin@192.168.1.53:554/videoMain.

I've changed the ip-address and my daughter set up our iPhones to connect via wifi. I believe she used port 88 and an non-Foscom application she found on the apple site. She's satisfied with that part for use in the barn but I am still interested in accessing them with my Linux systems.

Thanks,

Bob
