A simple solution would be to do whatever is necessary for the vast majority in anaconda, but to have one single button which says: "full control, do what you want, this can eat your dog". Bug reports based on the use of this button automatically would be labeled WONTFIX. Period.
Following this thread, I guess this won't happen..
