Okay, seems i have a lot of reading todo on zfs now.
It appears it is possible to import zfs pool even if the host os died.
So if it is possible to import the pool from a totally different os (but still linux)as long as it supports linux file system and zfs that should do it.

Of course, you will.
If you use linux files as virtual disks, they will be on a filesystem on RAID6.
If you give block devices to qemu, you just give it the RAID6 devices (e.g. dev/md?).
