So that would be one of the iso's that I probably have already downloaded? *bangs head* That will allow me to boot from the rescue cd and say make a change to my grub.conf file?

I have an issue that I might need a rescue cd, is there a way to create one from my current setup so that if I goof I can get back into the system from a boot cd and revert back to teh old config?
You can use the Fedora distributed rescue disc for that. You don'thave to make one yourself. I suggest you make regular backups of your system's critical files. Then when you find yourself in a bind, boot off of the rescue disc and pull your backup files back in.
