I suppose we should explicitly point out: All servers can be attacked, and that includes DNS servers. So if you run your own, you need to know how to deal with that.
Yes, that needs to be repeated. I think, it has been a long thread, I did mention DoS attacks against DNS servers. Even the "big boys" can struggle dealing with those from time to time.
