Bonjour,
I have persistent problem at bootup: boot hangs at the beginning for some "inconsistency" in my /dev/md0 partition.
I installed my f10 on 2 drives with software raid1 partitions end /dev/md0 is my / partition.
cat /proc/mdstat
md0 : active raid1 sdb1[0] sdc1[1] 1052160 blocks [2/2] [UU]
following instructions in some RAID howto, I installed grub on the 2 drives sdb and sdc *but* once I made a mistake and instead of typing
grub> device (hd1) /dev/sdb (or c, i don't remember) grub> root (hd1,0) grub> setup (hd1)
I replace the first line by:
grub> device (hd1) /dev/sdb1 (or c1)
I don't know exactly what happens in this case, but I am wondering if grug has not installed some files in md0, causing the boot failure for "inconsistency".
If it is pertinent to think so, I have 2 questions:
1- How to validate this, ie. what are these files and how to "see" them?
2- How to remove them?
Thanks for attention.
