There's a systemd gnome shell extension that you could use but personally
I really like cockpit, both of which you can find in gnome-software.
Cockpit is web based so you just point your browser to localhost:9090 and
use your normal login.
What is the KDE equivalent? I don't like to mix KDE and Gnome if I can
avoid it.
