Not everybody is using a laptop. Right now, I'm working on a desktop
that's connected to my router by Cat 5. Why would I care if I can't connect to open hotspots, especially when you consider that this computer doesn't even have a wireless card.
Well, desktop fans will soon fall into the minority :)
