You can't just dnf search for a library like that.  Sometimes it works, 
but usually not.  The following two commands will find the right package 
(which is "openldap"):
dnf install /usr/lib64/libldap-2.4.so.2
dnf repoquery --whatprovides libldap-2.4.so.2
