Thinking of both the present and the next few years, which of lightdm, gdm, and sddm
would be best? Which do you recommend? wikipedia isn't saying much about those
choices.
I have no particular opinion. As a KDE user I tend to stick with sddm as it is part of
KDE. The only departure from
that is when I'm using KDE in a qemu VM. Recently using sddm in the VM has issues
with display sizing. So,
I've been using gdm in that case.
