If you have a personal dictionary you are supposed to be able to add the line
-yo
to remove yo from being a valid spelling.
I have not tested this, just read in docs on hunspell womewhere.

I thought I'd ask this over here as there are

I want to remove "yo" from my dictionary. It is
not in my custom dictionary, so how do I get rid
of it from my standard dictionary?
Many thanks,
