What do you get when you try this?
sudo yum upgrade updates.testing R
I get:
..... No Match for argument: updates.testing No package updates.testing available. No packages marked for update
There you go...that is pretty indicative.
You should try:
sudo yum update --enablerepo updates-testing R
though it is not clear why anyone would include updates-testing, since the last time an updated R was released by CRAN was in early summer and is current in the Fedora repos.

I used to do this by scrolling up through the commands, but it's no longer there: I don't know if I remember it correctly:
sudo yum upgrade updates.testing R
Do I have this correct, or am I missing something? I don't want to forge ahead fearing that I might screw something up.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard
