Not without modyfing source. Here is the patch to make fonts bold.

Ok, I thank you for this information but I don't know how or where to
apply a patch. I tried /home/bobg/.tkremindrc without success, it
produces several errors and .tkremindrc is normally an empty file anyway
which leads me to believe I'm looking in the wrong place?
