Bootable have a special format, which the "boot sector" is
not residing on the ISO FS on the data track.
mount -l will shows you the ISO FS only IMO.
You probably have to exact the boot image from the "boot
sector", then inject it back when you growisofs.

You can mount the iso, but you can't change its
contents,
check the archives I have asked the same question
before and it seems
that its not possible.
