I'm a brand new Linux user. I've just installed Fedora Core 5. I'm using GNOME, but would like to try KDE. Can you explain (or point me towards) how to do that? Specifically, I mean changing the configuration so that I'm running KDE instead of GNOME.
Assuming you have KDE installed, logout, change the session to KDE and log back in.
And if you need to install it then go to Menu - Add/Remove Software - Desktop Environments and check the kde box. That will get you a pretty useful kde environment. After installation just exit your session and change session to kde. Cheers Antoine
