Hello,
Thank for the suggestion. However, after I installed wicd and wicd-common. I tried to systemctl start wicd and this is what I got:
● wicd.service - Wicd a wireless and wired network manager for Linux Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/wicd.service; disabled; vendor preset: disabled) Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Sun 2015-08-02 17:16:55 CEST; 5s ago Process: 3124 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/wicd --no-daemon (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) Main PID: 3124 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

After I updated from fedora 20 to 22, I lost the Mobile Broadband and Wifi connections.
I tried several things like systemctl start ModemManager systemctl enable ModemManager
I always remove networkmanager & install wicd.. wicd just seems to work for wireless connections..
