you don't specify what MoBo, what type and maker of video card, so I'm not
sure I can help you.
I've a similar problem whit an ASUS MoBo and an ATI AGP-8x video card.
Found a solution changing the AGP aperture from 8x to 4x in the BIOS
Advanced Setting.
