I suspect that it was brought in by qemu. Did you install
virtualization packages? The strange part is that the user wasn't
created. If that had happened, you would never have noticed that it
was installed.
I did install qemu as an experiment, though I usually run Virtualbox.
Qemu brings in qemu-block-gluster, which no doubt brings in the rest.
I suggest filing a bug at

with the info from your original message. It seems like a bug to me
that it's expecting a user that it didn't create.
