Since it's for testing, consider using a virtual machine with the
appropriate version of Fedora.

Or use a more appropriate distro such as CentOS6 which has postgres84 in it's base repos.

Is there a specific reason you want to use Fedora?

If it's just what you have installed on your workstation you should probably use a CentOS 6 VM.
