Keith, I have, I believe, the same camera. You need to install the
SPCA driver for it -- this is not part of the mainline kernel. The
following worked for me:
wget
http://drpixel.tuxfamily.org/fedora/drpixel-release-1-1.noarch.rpm
rpm -Uvh drpixel-release-1-1.noarch.rpm
yum install --enablerepo=drpixel kmod-gspca
in aMSN, if you use a NAT/router, you need to open ports 6890-6900
for the camera to work. I believe I also had to do this in the
fedora firewall.

Thank you very much for your reply.
Unfortunately, when I run:
yum install --enablerepo=drpixel kmod-gspca
I get this error message:
Transaction Check Error: package kernel-2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 is already

The camera still doesn't work (looking at the video set-up in both
Kopete and Ekiga. No device found.)
Do I uninstall the older files which are causing the conflicts and
then run 'yum install' again? I don't want to risk doing anything
like that without knowing it's the correct thing to do! It is a bit
peculiar, as the new files are the same number as the older ones.
Many thanks for your help, and sorry to trouble you again.
Cheers
Keith
