Oh wow, efficient packaging tailored to work properly in your OS is
being abandoned for a huge 2GB blob (referring to one of Paul's links)
that will probably have problems with every distro (*).

* My experience with allegedly universal blobs is negative, you find
things like you cannot print from the application.  You have to save a
PDF, then open it in a PDF viewer and print from there.  Tedious
backwards crappory.
