Actually, I see this warning all the time also, especially when
youtube video is embedded. The video does play on
youtube.com however,
$ rpm -qa flash-plugin
flash-plugin-11.2.202.577-release.x86_64
Adobe has said they will continue to provide backported security
updates for flash-plugin for 5 years from it's release.

There's less than a year of that left now.
Even with them providing security updates, they are usually not very
quick to do so and the flash-plugin has a horrible track record.
So, IMHO, you should only install flash in cases you absolutely need
it, and keep it uninstalled/completely disabled the rest of the time.
