New Text Editor - A Question.....

Just wondering ladies and gentlemen. Is there any way to get the new 
text editor to use  a "dark" theme? I love its simple interface and the 
fact that the text can be BOLDED again! But this bright white?..is 
KILLING my eyes! Just wondering is all!
