Try refreshing your font cache:

$ fc-cache -f

I'd also advise you to put the fonts in /usr/local/share/fonts or
~/.fonts instead of the global directory, since they won't be tracked by
the package manager.

I couldn't found a fonts folder in  /usr/local/share.  May I have to create it?

I have 2 users in this system, and fonts are around 300MBs.  I don't see why I have to occupy 600MBs in  /home  if they're already in a system folder.
