Shut it down if you can't get back to deal with it immediately.

Your client could be currently serving as a site hosting anything from spam to
stolen credit cards to child pornography and anything else.

I don't think the local law enforcement will accept "Our consultant was too busy
to deal with it" as an excuse when they bust your client's door down and seize
the servers.
