Extremely annoying; makes tabbed viewing unusable. I'm wondering now if I should have filed this in Fedora and not upstream...

If someone can tell me how to turn off the tabs and go back to the old window behavior, I'd be very grateful.
Edit > Preferences Advanced Section Reading and Display Tab Look for the "Open Messages In" section
