Aha - I found how to create the fisheye format from a "normal" panorama:

Seems possible to go in the other direction also. Take a look at
Panorama Tools and see if it will work:

Never mind - your example image is not "little planet". The math must
be similar though. It might be worth asking on the
panotools.org
list.
