Interesting. My rendering times are (all on FC4):

Firefox 1.06            8.1
Mozilla 1.7.10          3.2
Opera 8.02 build 1272   2.6
IE 6 (via wine)         5.2

That's why I use Mozilla or Opera regularily and Firefox not very often. 
It's not just a personal "feeling".
