I just upgraded to the new 5.7 kernel and it has a lot of bugs.
A "lot" of bugs?
It can't even initialize my swap file:
How did you create that swap file?
If it is the bug reported in May, a normal swapfile on ext4 that has been used with a 5.6 kernel can be rejected One fix is to modify the test that fails, but a comment to that proposed patch indicated that there is some provision for special handling of swapfiles that should be used. I assume that, absent a kernel patch, the problem could come back, e.g., after booting an older kernel to repair something.
