Without a doubt. My wife is a 4th grade Teacher here in NC and the
number of kids who don't bother with punctuation, or spelling or
proper sentence structure is appalling. It's as if young people these
days think text/twitter shorthand is appropriate everywhere because
it's all they know.
And it's impossible to get them to understand that without proper
English (or sub in language of choice here) is essential in the real
world.

Seriously though, I agree with your point, yet at the same time, you need
to make sure that you're in the right forum for your opinion. Just like
political discussion your comment is of topic and not helpful...
I think we need more info on which desktop environment and which browser is
being used...
