Hi,

I have a similar issue with pulseaudio. I have pulseaudio 
configured to use my Logitech Headphones, and every so often I get a pop 
up message that pulseaudio is switching back to the headphones, this 
happens without specifically playing any media at all. It also happens 
under both Gnome and KDE.
