Hi,
I was wondering how one does it: I have been looking at the Preferences -> Desktop but I can not find a way to have it take nothing as the background. Previously, in F10,11,12, I recall that there was a button somewhere which said no background. I can not find it here.
Any help?
Many thanks! Ranjan
Select wallpaper screen, type in "none" for the filename. Presto ...
Thanks, John! In my case, there is a drop down menu. I chose a file that is not a jpg and now get a black background. However, I can not get xplanet running in the background to show up. Any ideas?
I also looked around for a configuration file to do the same by hand (like the good old days) but have not been able to find one yet. Any pointers?
Where should a bug report be submitted? Fedora? Or LXDE?
Many thanks again, Ranjan
Have a look at the .conf files in .config/pcmanfm
THe only .conf file is lxde.conf which has the following under desktop:
[desktop] wallpaper_mode=0 wallpaper=/usr/local/maitra/config/geany/templates/filetype.none desktop_bg=#000000 desktop_fg=#ffffff desktop_shadow=#000000 show_wm_menu=1
THere is also the main.lxde file there which has the following:
[Desktop] show_desktop=0 show_wallpaper=0 wallpaper=/usr/share/backgrounds/images/default.png bg2=38540,30,5952
Anything I am missing?
Best wishes, Ranjan
