Yes, I read it. Will Thunderbird continue to be part of the Fedora repos?
My understanding of that quote is that older versions of TB cannot be
upgraded to version 78.0, but rather that it has to be freshly
installed. I don't use TB but assume that this refers to the in-program
update process (Firefox has a similar procedure), which Fedora users
won't generally be using anyway. I assume Fedora will continue to
support TB via the package manager as usual.
