Ambrogio:
I use evolution and I seen on fedora repos that there is an evolution-remove-duplicates. It's a plugin (and I see it after installing it), but I don't know how to use.
Tim:
Select a batch of e-mails in a folder (or all of them), right-click over one of them, and pick the remove duplicates option from the menu. Anything it removed will be in the trash folder, where you can undo mistakes.
Aaron Konstam:
Well that is interesting since I can't find a remove duplicates option on any menu. Where do you find it?
I'm leaving in your following amusing tag, because it answers your query:
======================================================================= The White Rabbit put on his spectacles. "Where shall I begin, please your Majesty ?" he asked. "Begin at the beginning,", the King said, very gravely, "and go on till you come to the end: then stop." -- Lewis Carroll =======================================================================
Tim.... narrowly avoiding saying, "RTFM." But I'm going to do it one day soon.
