Just as a matter of interest, how do you disable the firewall? The man page for firewall-cmd has several degrees of disabling for various things but apparently nothing that just turns it off. As with SElinux, it would useful to be able to do this for diagnostic purposes.
The trusty "systemctl stop firewalld" command. :-)
I assumed that that would block everything rather than open everything, given that the actual filtering is done in the kernel, not the daemon.
