What I don't understand is where the version you have comes from. The README file I got with the version I downloaded clearly states that it is linked against libg++.so.27 - but I have no such library or anything close - I'd be curious if you do...
I'm afraid I can't give an intelligent answer to that. I'm on the road and all the evidence, including and README files, is back home on my desktop so I won't be able to look at it till January.
