Hi, at this time, I'm running Fedora 15 X86_64 in my main machine with BTRFS as the file system.
Since I made the installation I found some "performance peaks" in the system, I mean, Sometimes
it works well, sometimes it is kind of slow.

Specially I'm having problems with VM's, (both in VirtualBox and VMware Player) their
performance and the system's one are both HORRIBLE! This never happened in F14 with
Ext4 (Filesystem was the only "deep change" I made to my system when upgraded) So I was
wondering if there are some tips to improve system's performance in F15 with BTRFS.

Also the system delays a little in boot and I don't like that, Any Suggestions?

P.S. Other people reported this issue too: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=689127

I want to Know How to Solve it and why is it there.

Thanks!

Now I confirmed BTRFS performance issues:

http://arosenfeld.wordpress.com/2010/12/27/back-to-ext4-from-btrfs/

I can't keep using this thing anymore. So now the question is:

If is not possible to solve the performance issues in BTRFS, How
can I convert a btrfs partition back to ext4? it doesn't matter I have an
encrypted filesystem?

Thanks again.
