Until Netflix wants you to play netflix on Linux, you won't be able to. There are a few hacks like installing wine and silverlight that work for some people, but none worked for me when I last tried it in Jan 2013. I ended up buying a roku box, which just worked. It was also lower power than my desktop by far, so it wasn't exactly a lose all the way around.
