Because I do not see at all, I have "fallen in love with" excellent app named Lios.
It is complex app writeen in Python and it uses GTK 3 toolkit to create its GUI.
Unfortunately, on Fedora 35, 36, some dependent Python component was changed. As A result, when ever user want to access The settings dialog, which is necessary, app hang. No errors are printed to The terminal related to Python language errors.
So I Am having big plea to Python developers here.
Would you be so kind and would you try to debug and find The cause of this problem please?
Github source code tree of this app LIOS is here:
https://github.com/Nalin-x-Linux/Lios
One absolvent of informatic science in our country has told Me, that The problem causes new version of Pygobject introspection library or The similar name.
May be, that advanced Python developers will find The exact cause and if it could be solved even by having development debate with The author of Pyobject introspection library.
Thank you very much for your help.
With kindness regards.

https://github.com/zendalona/lios/issues/18 says the issue has been fixed with https://github.com/zendalona/lios/commit/565afb783dc50d4ec7c9d1d6caf486c26f4...
Dear MR White,
I have thought, that this branch is not official so I have only watched The Github tree link which I have sent previously to this mailing list.
Sure, I will remove non functioning Lios and I will try to compile LIOS thanks to your adviced new Github tree link.
Oh I AM very sorry. I Am big confuser.
It is comment which I have allready created on 17 Feb.
I have stopped to watch it. So I will rebuild Lios.

No need to feel sorry -- it is very hard to keep up with all the different places bugs might be discussed for third party packages. I use OCR for data rescue when the only copy of the data is a PDF made from a line-printer report, and to get text in languages I don't know from screen captures, so vaguely familiar with lios. I have had a number of colleagues with severe vision issues, so have also dealt with image to speaker tools. People tend to learn one set of tools and want to stay with them for longer periods than the underlying platforms provide. Imagine if keyboard layouts were updated (e.g., scrambled) every few years.

Hope it works. There are many newer wrappers for the underlying libraries (tesseract and offspring) and evaluations for accuracy on increasingly difficult input, but don't think there is much discussion of image to speaker use cases.
