problems

Hello, I have a problem, I have Fedora Core 3 and here planty things 
don't work. First is k3b, I have update system and new k3b but while I 
open k3b this don't working, k3b are stopping, dosbox, frozen-bubble and 
many many this same. Example cdrom don't work but don't shown any errors 
only when I write example k3b.. at the console I see k3b and nothing more :(
I regards and I'm sorry for my language I speak litte bit in english
