Hi,
how long do the moderators intend to delay my messages?
It seems that the code of conduct the moderators are referring to actually means that everyone who disagrees will be silenced. If that is so, just say so.

If you are referring to the ones in the 'why do we use systemd?' thread then I suspect it's forever, as that thread was closed.

That's not the case.
Anyone is welcome to disagree or agree with anyone about anything.
However, this list's topic is:
"This list provides community assistance, encouragement, and advice for Fedora users. Topics outside of that are generally not appropriate for this list. Please keep in mind that there are many thousands of subscribers and do your best to remain on-topic and courteous."
You are welcome to say whatever you like, but if you drift off the topic of this list, or break the code of conduct, the Fedora Project is in no way obligated to provide you the use of it's resources to do so.

Then I should have received a notification that my messages are being delayed indefinitely.

I have neither been offtopic, not did I break the conduct, if you go by what it says. So yes, it obviously means that anyone who doesn't agree will be silenced.

have you looked at headers of your posted emails to see just where they are getting delayed.

No, I got a notification that messages are being withheld for moderation and never received the messages, so I don't have any headers to look at. Since it's bee a few days, I thought I'd ask what happened to them.
And there still hasn't been a clear answer :(

All on the list were collectively notified that the thread with Subject "why do we use systemd?" had been terminated.
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/users/2014-July/451741.html
If anyone sent any messages referencing that thread they have been sent to the bit-bucket.
I suppose it would could have been made more clear had a "reject" notice been sent rather than a "moderation" notification. I don't know the abilities of the mailing list software used....but maybe there is a deficiency in that regards. (Don't know....and don't really see the need to research it.)
In any event it should be clear that no one in particular has been targeted by this action. It is just that the thread was judged to have out lived it useful nature when balanced against the aim/purpose of the mailing list.

And, just to be explicit, I went to the moderation queue and explicitly rejected any outstanding messages on that thread. I was offline all weekend and tied up in meetings yesterday, but I'll try to keep a closer eye on the moderation queue.
