Yep, my display starts to turn white and looks like its melting. This also happens when I switch to a virtual console and then back to X. I had this problem with FC4 updates before and filed it as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=173215 and also see http://freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5795
I got around it before by downgrading my xorg packages to the original ones from FC4 (before any updates).

Those 2 bugs sound like something completely different than what I'm experiencing (plus I'm not hitting those bugs at all). At any rate, I've opened this bug for the problem i'm running into: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=190307
