Does anyone know of a good Gmail notifier for FC2?

I don't. I did read this weekend that Google was changing things to make it difficult to use third party notifiers. I think Google has one they put out. It may be the only one that works now, but it most likely only works for windows.

I read the same thing, I was just hoping that I could find one that worked prior to them doing that. I hate windows and IE. Why doesn't the world understand there are more than just those two items out there?

Try these, though you have to use mozilla firefox with these extension. http://nexgenmedia.net/extensions/

Actually this does work with Mozilla as well.

It is the least common denominator. 98% of the clients out there are Windows users. So there are more people putting time in on those systems.
Also why virtually all viruses are written for windows as well. When the balance shifts you will see that change also.

OMG!!!
LOL, I use gmail for all of my mailing-list memberships. If I had a notifier (Linux or Windows) it would just go NUTS! LOL. (You're asking about something that lets you know when you have email right?)

There is a cool Gmail extension for Firefox/Mozilla
http://www.nexgenmedia.net/extensions/
I guess you want a "stand alone" notifier though,
Colin
Just set up some filters. Tell it to label and auto-archive(skip the inbox) and it wont show up on any notifier.
