Can we use the GPU with fedora?
I currently use OpenMP to parallelize my code.

Which GPU?  OpenMP is used on many HPC systems with nvidia compute cards, and some high end workstation GPUs can be used too, I think.

I can't speak to OpenMP, but I run Folding@Home on my AMD RX580, but it did
require a few of the amdgpu binary packages.
