Updatedb problem

hi
i have a problem with updatedb
whenever i type it in the terminal
this is what i get :

# updatedb
Segmentation fault
#

can anyone tell me what may cause this error ?

query any other packages like

rpm -qa  ssh*

same result?

try

service network restart,

same result?

its not related, im just guessing you have a visitor inside your box , hope
not ;)

updatedb has nothing to do with RPM.
