I have recently updated the kernel from 2.6.15 to 2.6.17 and installed the kmod-nvidia from livna but I can't run my GL based screen savers. Display is wokring fine, only GL is not working. Do you have any experience like this? Anybody knows the work around?
Thanks

Sorry I was not clear. What I mean was, after installing kmod-nvidia I can still use X. There is no difference between installing kmod-nvidia and not installing. Either way I can't use the graphics acceralation.
glxinfo gives me ============================ name of display: :0.0

It means that you're not using the nvidia X driver. See the driver README for instructions.
Hope this information will help.

But I did the nvidia installation as instructed in http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-fc5.html#nvidia
I checked if kmod-nvidia is really installed or not through rpm and it says it is installed. ------------------ $ rpm -q kmod-nvidia kmod-nvidia-1.0.8762-2.2.6.17_1.2139_FC5 ----------------------
Now I am confused.
