Hello,
I've heard quite a few FTPd horror stories, and I was wondering - What is the most secure and reliable FTPd to use? The one that comes with Fedora, or something else? I've been looking on google, but I want some opinions. Thanks!

At the moment there are no glaring reported holes in the more popular daemons... which is not allways the case... for people who run mirrors custimization is a big deal, and standalone daemons like proftpd and vsftpd are very popular.

There is no such thing as a secure ftp server. I highly suggest you look into sftp/scp via OpenSSH.
