Any suggestions?
It appears you have the flash plugin installed from some other source. That is what "nothing to do" means. You could do a "yum -y remove flash-plugin" as root. Then be sure the macromedia repository is configured and enabled as suggested and as root do a yum -y install flash-plugin?

Another reason you may be getting the "nothing to do message" would be that you do not have the macromedia repository configured as suggested so yum can find a match for flash-plugin.

Yes, it appears you don't have the mplug repo. Simple fix, as root: cd /etc/yum.repos.d/ wget http://macromedia.mplug.org/macromedia-i386.repo
