now i will have someone to fall back on when i change my linksys wrt54g. (gbwg)
I setup dd-wrt on my wrt54gl a while back. I put it in as client bridged. I use it to plug in wired devices, then it is wireless back to my router, connected to my DSL modem.. that way I don't have to have my wired desktop near my modem..
great. good to know you have success with dd-wrt also. now i will have 2 sources of help. :)
btw. i notice that you have a wrt54gl. are you aware that that there is a difference in cpu as well as linux firmware?
i would not think cpu would make any difference, but curious if you may be aware of anything.
they have tutorials: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Tutorials
thank you for passing that link.
i have 50+ links for 'wrt' info. 20 for dd-wrt.com. when i checked above link to see if i had it bookmark, i found that most of my 2009 links were out dated. now i have something else to do. :(
